Korenea Fields-Baker a.k.a "Minister K", is the eldest of six children born to Billy Fields Sr. and Cynthia Fields in Savannah GA. In 1999 she married her lifelong partner, James Baker.
She Grew up in First Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church where she thrived and developed a personal relationship with the Lord. Reverand J. L. Frazier was her first pastor followed by Reverand Jenkins and her current pastor Dr. Ronald B. Gregory. All three pastors saw the call of God upon her life and each of them nurtured her love for him. Her kingdom work started in her teenage years when she started a gospel singing group with her sisters and a few church members. Later she became a worship leader, followed by a Sermonette Speaker, and then a licensed minister in 2012. In August of 2021, Pastor Dr. Ronald B. Gregory ordained her as the associate Pastor of First Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church where she is making a difference in that community. In this community, she has taken a love for the youth and has worked with them since 2012. Because of her love for the youth, she started an Outreach ministry called Reach Our Youth Community Outreach. This ministry helps the needy kids, Adults, and homeless communities in the Savannah metropolitan area. With assistance from local business owners and private donations, Korenea has been privileged to host several givebacks in the communities. These givebacks consist of Easter Egg Hunts, back-to-school giveaways, Thanksgiving Feed the Hungry Programs, and Christmas giveaways.
Korenea is the Epitome Of "I Am My Brother's Keeper" with her favorite saying "You know Renea is keeping it real". She has shown her love, dedication, and loyalty to those in the communities, and she has displayed a true laborer of LOVE. Because of her love and desire to see others blessed on January 5, 2019, she birthed Blessed Beyond Measures Ministries where she is healing the brokenhearted through love and resources.
While healing the brokenhearted in the communities in 2023 Korenea suffered a great loss that shook the foundation of her and her ministries. She lost her eldest brother Billy Fields Jr. She used her pain to PUSH harder and with this pain birthed PURPOSE and the Billy Field Jr foundation was established.
Minister K is a wife, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, and leader. As a leader, she is paving the way to improve our communities.
This foundation was established as a reminder for us to never give up. Minister K's brother was her biggest supporter and contributor. He never missed an opportunity to give love, wisdom, and sound godly counsel. After his death, Korenea wanted to throw in the towel, but she could hear her brother's voice saying, "You are going to do this no matter what." She realized she had to keep doing what she does no matter what and as a result she launched the Billy Fields Foundation where she can celebrate his life of love and outreach while making a difference in the Savannah Metropolitan area communities. This foundation is dedicated to providing love, hope, and support to those who need it the most. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to live a fulfilling life and that through our efforts, we can make a real difference in many communities. Join us in our mission to change lives and make a lasting impact in our area.
